"Neringa" was opened in November 6, 1959. The authors of the project and name for the then-café were Algimantas and Vytautas Nasvyciai. The interior of "Neringa" was also created by artists Vladas Jankauskas, Vytautas Povilaitis (mural painting), sculptor Juozas Kedainis.

In November 5, 1970 the interior was listed among "State Protected Monuments of Lithuanian Architecture".
After capital repairs in 2001 today "Neringa" welcomes you with 2 light and cosy halls admitting 150 people, the banquet hall for 25 people and the café-bar located in the basement, which admits 80 people. 		cafebar5_120

The restaurant is famous for its cultural activities and people: since 1969 it has been called "Cradle of Jazz" and is known for jazz concerts (thursday evenings) and continued tradition of organising Vilnius Jazz Festival. On fridays and saturdays there are different events. Every day during the lunch time there is live music that keeps you in a good mood and helps to the apetite!
Neringa hosts invites you to Neringa Café-Bar placed in the basement, where you can order business lunch or enjoy restaurant dishes. It is a perfect place for all kinds of celebrations.
