- "It was the place for interdisciplinary subjects, such as philosophy, sociology, cultural studies, culture history, etc. Such university was more interesting than Vilnius University of those times. - "Neringa" was not only the meeting place of the bohemia, but it was also frequented by the intelligentsia - teachers, doctors, actors. The most pleasing thing is that it is the only café in Lithuania, which retained its style". (Justinas and Genute Marcinkeviciai, the Stilius, 26-02-1999)
- "This café in the architecture of Stalin's regime was a real breakthrough ". (Sculptor Konstantinas Bogdanas, the Stilius, 26-02-1999)
- "It was like a place to train your mind because people of different occupations used to come there". (Writer Romualdas Lankauskas, the Stilius, 1999.02.26)
